Many doctors have been talking about the benefits of green tea for increasing energy, helping the body with antioxidants, and even weight loss, but recent studies suggest that a green tea moisturizer may have direct benefits specifically for our skin.
A moisturizer that contains green tea is believed to improve the overall appearance of our skin. Green tea moisturizer contains green tea extract, water, and in some cases, other oils that help the skin absorb the active ingredients better. It may also benefit people who suffer from a variety of specific skin problems, such as rashes that are caused by acne.
Other skin irritations may be soothed by this kind of moisturizer, and in some studies, such creams have even been linked to getting rid of acne scars, reducing their redness and smoothing the skin. It can also used by many people to soothe sunburns and prickly heat.

What you need:
Vitamin E Oil
DIY green tea face moisturizer recipe:
– 1 Tbsp beeswax
– 3 Tbsp almond oil
– 2 Tbsp coconut oil
– 1/2 tsp vitamin e oil
– 1-2 tea bags organic green tea
Melt the oils and wax. Pour in green tea sachet while oil is still on heat & leave for 10-15 min before straining through cheese cloth.
– 5 drops essential oil
Use lavender for a nice smell and skin regenerating properties but you could use for instance eucalyptus, rosemary or tea tree oils for acne, or others for any other effects.
Then whip the strained liquid with an electric beater until it is room temperature and creamy.
Store in a jar in a cool dry place, should last until finished because it primarily consists of oils.
