1. Foundation & Powder – choose the right shade for your skin and choose a shade that compliments your skin.
As you can see the photo on the left, the shade of the foundation that has been used matches her neck and it was set with press powder with the right shade.
And on the right photo as you can see the foundation is very pink and its too light and the powder is the wrong shade.
2. Bronzer – Dont over use bronzer.
As you can see on the left photo, she just applies a little bit of contouring, that defines her cheek bone in the right way.
And on the right photo she has too much bronzer on her cheeks, that cause it to look a little bit over the top.
3. Blush – Apply the right amount of blush on and make it look natural.
On the left photo, she just put a little bit of blush on, nothing too heavy or too dark. Just a simple basic blush and contouring look in combo.
And on the right photo, because she already has the bronzer and she put blush on it…her cheek looks intense, dark, and too heavy…it’s just too much and looks overdone.
4. Eyebrow – If you fill and shape them right, even with just applying a powder onto your face, your eyebrows can make you look prettier. And if you’re not lucky to be born with nice thick full eyebrows, then you can just fill them in.
5. Highlighter – is meant to be used in moderation because it’s very eye catching.
On the left photo she just applies a nice amount of highlighter and it looks beautiful.
On the right photo she applies highlighter and it’s pretty obvious. If you apply thick highlighter it can catch attention but could be the wrong attention.
