A good microdermabrasion treatment can be amazingly effective in helping to clear away all the dead skin cells and other junk that clog up our pores, leading to future breakouts.
And while not all of us can have a microdermabrasion machine at home, there are plenty of ways to make your own, you just need nutmeg and some milk.
Start with a clean face and simply combine equal parts nutmeg with milk and mix thoroughly until you have a thin paste. Then rinse your face once so it’s wet and start working your nutmeg milk solution into your skin in a soft, circular motion.
Make sure to focus on the areas where you have blackheads but remember to use a soft touch as you don’t want to damage your skin.
Rinse after about 3 minutes, pat dry, and marvel at not only how soft your skin feels but how much of an improvement you will see on your target areas..
It can’t get much more simple than this treatment. All you need is sticky honey and a clean face. Simply pour some honey onto your fingertips and quickly pat the target areas on with your fingers.
The honey will stick to the gunk in your pores and pull it out as you remove your fingers. Wash your face to remove any remaining stickiness. Not only does the honey clean out your pores but it also acts as a gentle antibacterial and antioxidant, so if you miss some while rinsing it off it won’t re-clog your pores.
That was easy, wasn’t it?
This little blackhead remedy has been around the block a few times, which is probably because it’s just so freaking easy. All you need is an egg and a small (clean) paintbrush.
Starting with a clean face, separate your yolk from your egg whites and throw out the yolk. Then just dip your paintbrush into your egg whites and start applying them to your face. Do one coat at a time, waiting a minute in between for the egg whites to dry, then apply your second and third coat, making sure to focus on the areas you normally get blackheads.
Let the egg whites sit on your face for up to 15 minutes while they dry. Your face should feel tighter and pull a little as the egg whites dry, this is a good thing. After your 15 minutes is up, gently wash the egg whites off your face with warm water. Your face should feel extremely soft, your skin tone more uniform, and your blackheads diminished.
