#1. Not Moisturizing Properly:

Dry, parched skin doesn’t make a very good canvas. If you skip this essential moisturizing step and jump straight to applying makeup, you’ll wind up aging yourself. In addition to using a moisturizer every morning, try throwing in a hydrating serum, as well. And pay special attention to the spots where you dry out the fastest. Give extra love to these regions to keep your skin supple and healthy.

#2. Too Much Foundation:

Too little foundation can sometimes make you look tired, but too much foundation can make you look downright exhausted. If you overdo it on the foundation front your skin will look cakey. Plus, it’ll make fine lines appear more prominent. To avoid this, use a blending sponge not your fingers for flawless and even application and make sure to clean and replace your tools regularly.

Even if you do a perfect job of applying your makeup in the morning, by the end of the day product has an annoying habit of smudging and fading. Always keep a compact mirror and a pack of oil-blotting sheets in your purse for mid-day touch-ups. A small bottle of a hydrating face spray is also great to keep on hand.
